This is the cheapest item I've been able to find on Revain from a brand I know, so I wasn't too surprised when they failed media certification before using them to have. I'm using a software application to test all new media (SoftRAID) and they fail on the first pass. They are preformatted for MSDOS and appear to accept initialization, but are not trusted for long-term storage or sensitive data.
