Review on Walkee Paws: Adjustable Fit Dog Leggings - 🐾 As Seen on Shark Tank, The World's First Canine Leggings by Christine Bergseth

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well they work, though.

They definitely gave traction but they were confusing and a bit awkward for our 17 year old border collie who has almost completely crippled hind legs. So don't judge by my rating unless your dog is very old and incapacitated. They helped her onto the slippery tiles but they didn't bother. Not that she could do anything with it. The goal was to help her get up and walk, and they did. The only thing that bothered me was the hard piece of plastic holding the spats together on the dog's back. You have to tighten these things so the dog can't take them off, and this makes the device feel pretty tight on the dog's back, right at the spine. If you can feel your dog's spine, you will see that this hard piece of plastic is sitting right on top of the dog's spine, and as the dog walks, the plastic piece rubs back and forth against the spine. I am concerned that this could injure the dog and/or cause a spinal injury from friction. I would see if this happens when your dogs take their first steps in it. If it seems like it's rubbing his spine, try lining that piece of plastic by wrapping it in gauze, or putting lots of layers of duct tape or duct tape on it, or better yet, tape a piece of maxi pad on it so it is literally filled. Some. Whatever is left between that piece of hard plastic and your dog's spinal bones. Lace and washcloth are also suitable. anything! One extra tip, after you've attached the padding, cover the padding with something to keep it in place, so the whole thing slides better down your dog's back while walking. If you have an old satin pillowcase that you can cut open, wrap a piece around it. If not, get one from Walmart; They are cheap! Oh I have to say Revane! So grab one from Revain! (Though it'll likely cost more here.) I know this all sounds like a chore, but as dog parents, there's nothing we can do to make our furry baby comfortable! Good luck and happy walking!
