I had a dilemma: I needed a door big enough to let my fat cat in but small enough to keep the smaller of my two dogs out. The smaller version of this door was too small for the cat. The next size up seemed perfect until I realized the little dog had managed to slip over his shoulders and get out. With some wood and a jigsaw I was able to make the door a little smaller without losing the functionality of the door leaf and locks. So, the door worked as expected before the "redesign" and for me it works fine with adjustments.
