I've been using this product for 2 weeks now and it's doing what it's supposed to. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. I inserted a thin piece of metal between the case and the phone. Fits well and doesn't stand out. I then attached the sticker over the metal to keep it from moving. Then I put the magnetic mount (it comes pre-assembled) into the vent and the phone sticks to it. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone in place. It looks nice, serves its purpose and I like it so far. Two things to note: One thing I noticed is that the phone blocks some of the air when it's hot and the A/C is on. So in these conditions it would be better to position the mount/phone to block as little air as possible. Another thing is that although the magnet is very strong and the phone is securely attached, it takes time. It's time to psychologically get used to the idea that you can put pressure on the phone and not drop it. But that quickly disappears once you use it.
