Review on Joovy 8094 Balloon Stroller Yellow by Missy Dawson

Impressed with a relatively inexpensive lightweight stroller

I was looking for a lightweight, inexpensive stroller that would allow me to change direction easily. To do this, I had to move the handle from one direction to the other without flipping the seat, which most strollers require. The stroller changes the direction of the handle in 1 second and is absolutely silent. So if your child is sleeping, you will not wake them up at all. Another nice feature is that you can adjust the backrest up or down with the strap on the backrest. This is very simple and you can do it gradually until your child falls asleep without them noticing. The seat returns to an almost fully reclined position, but not quite. So a seat that raises about 60 degrees is still a bit relaxed compared to other strollers I've seen. I also live in California so I spend a lot of time protecting them from the sun when I take my kid for a walk. The cover that came with the stroller is great. Has a UV rating of 50. And offers almost 100% coverage. Basically I can walk straight into the sun and the blanket keeps the sun out of your face but still leaves enough room for air. could look at her. And no, the case isn't waterproof and I wasn't expecting that. This stroller is perfect for my needs. However, I cannot give 5 stars for the following reasons. I'm 5'4" and sometimes when I walk over to my baby I kick the bar where the wheels are. I can't imagine how often this would happen if I was much taller. My stroller arrived with old wheels which other people have identified as a problem and I don't know why. Old wheels are identified by a thick spoke. I called customer service immediately and received new wheels, identified by 5 spokes. They arrived two days later and i have these wheels on my stroller such great customer service there aside from that i still find the best way to walk with my daughter is having the handle in the position i would face her in it is to actually walk alongside the stroller and use the push handle effectively so I'm still walking in the direction the stroller normally goes and when the handle is at the back, in the child's position I hope that makes sense. But I have found that it alleviates the problem of hitting the bar and also allows the stroller to walk more normally. Other suggestions I would like to make regarding cup holders. When I twist the handle back and forth, which I often do while walking, the cup holders stay in their original position, which basically means I still want coffee every time. I would advise the manufacturer to find a way to make the coasters more dynamic. Another suggestion concerns the actual height of the pusher. It's not adjustable in any way and I find it a little high for my liking. A good accessory would be some sort of accessory handle that would allow me to attach clamps to the existing handle but allow me to lower it down a level or two. Another suggestion from the manufacturer concerns the basket underneath. The size is ok but the access to the bin is just terrible. It would be better to design the corners with zippers that let you pull one up and lower it a bit for easier getting things in and out, and then the corners come up again to secure the contents again. The basket on my Chicco wagon has this feature and it's amazing. Again, if such a basket were created as an accessory, I would probably buy it. Finally, this stroller ticks all of my top priorities and my child loves it!
