So the wipers on my 1997 S10 worked when they wanted to (and not when it was raining). Also, the wipers stopped directly on the windshield instead of going all the way down. This part was an exact replacement for my truck. I would recommend double checking the correct Dorman part number for your application. To replace this part, all you have to do is remove the wiring harness connector. Then loosen the top torx screw and the middle one and just the third screw at the bottom of the cover. Then the circuit board is pulled out and a new one is inserted. I smeared the entire lid with dielectric grease to keep moisture out and used foil to seal the lid. Some of these boards are sold with a cover. However, this comes without a lid. Just wanted to let you know that this board is made in India. It was an easy install and repair that anyone could do. I was done just before it started to rain. Free shipping took about 10 days but other than that I'm happy with this product.
