I really like this stand! It's so smooth and really durable. I was considering buying a MacBook or Mac desktop instead of using my new iPad Air 2 for college, but this stand combined with the Anker Bluetooth keyboard is what I needed to complete the setup. The thought that it can be set up as a desktop computer at home and still be able to easily pick up a tablet and walk around makes me happy. And all without the additional costs of a MacBook or Mac. I definitely don't regret the decision to make this purchase and use my tablet as a desktop. A few things that really make this product great. 1. I was concerned that the hinge would be too weak to hold my tablet in place. Well I was wrong, the hinge is really strong and sturdy. I don't foresee it ever weakening to the point where I can no longer use it.2. I was afraid of scratching my new tablet because the stand is metal. The stand actually has pads on the bottom and top so your tablet never touches metal. I was also concerned that if I decided to put a case on my tablet I wouldn't be able to use the stand. I ended up buying a suitcase and it works well with a suitcase too. If you're considering this purchase, I would! You have nothing to lose, I mean it doubles as a tablet and phone stand which is nice and the price is great too.
