Problems with Velops start almost as soon as the box is opened. First of all, the initial setup of the mesh network seems to depend on whether the iPhone or Android app is running. Something is problematic as I will not assimilate into Apple's or Google's quest for world domination. Why Linksys chose to ship water for Apple and Google remains a mystery. Linksys tech support has also been ridiculously incompetent to provide a straight answer to a simple question: is it mandatory to have an iPhone or a Goo Goo toy, or is there a workaround somewhere on the web? in technical articles? I really wanted the Velop mesh to work. It's not like this.
