Will not fit my 1986 Ford Ranger.

Will not fit my 1986 Ford Ranger even though it says so on the box. The hole at the end of the tailgate is too big and the cable slips off the screw head. I paid twice as much here and only got one tailgate cable for the price of two from other suppliers. I thought that for a higher price you can buy a better product. I was wrong.
