I like the metal construction of the round box itself, but why the plastic inserts? I used it as a surface mount for my ring light chamber, so its diameter was close to the 5" diameter of the spotlight base. Silicone sealant protected some of the access holes from the elements. The price was MUCH cheaper than some other 5 inch surface mount switch boxes.
