Modern businesses have given us 2 options for kitchen trash bags. Option 1: bags that don't actually fit a standard 13 gallon trash bag, they barely touch the bottom and as you fill it up more they will inevitably slip off and fall in, but they are fairly durable and don't rip. Option 2: bags that fit the can nicely, edge to edge, and don't slip off, but they are not very sturdy and will rip if you put even a moderate amount of weight in them. These bags are option 2.At first, I was ecstatic about the size. That quickly faded. These bags claim to be thicker than most of the ones I use but they rip so easily. I bought a box of 200 and am now on my second roll. Almost half of them have ripped. I live in an apartment complex and while it's not a far walk to the dumpster, many times I have to carry the bag with 2 hands to ensure they don't rip on the way there.Once I'm finished with these bags I won't be buying more. If they weren't so expensive I wouldn't even bother using them anymore.
