They hold up really well even after multiple washes! No tears, the seams are sewn very well, the color does not fade. Comfortable belt. Internal elastics with buttons for a perfect fit at the waist. Ideal for active boys! My 13 year old son is about 5ft 3" - 5ft 4", weighs 123lbs, just bought a regular size 16 and is still wearing his regular size 14 but the shorts are just above the knee. .
