Review on 📞 Enhanced Communication Features: AT&T 1719 Digital Answering Machine with Audible Caller ID by Brenda Wang

Bought this for my dad in Rhode Island. Delivered quickly, easy to set up. However, he does not answer calls from outside Rhode Island. It rises and then turns off. I verified this when trying to call from Virginia (where I live) and traveling to Maine and Massachusetts from both landlines and cell phones. The user manual didn't address this issue, so I went to the AT&T customer support website and asked if this was a device malfunction or a known issue: I received no response. As such, I will not recommend a product that will not answer out-of-state calls and about which the company ignores legitimate customer questions. First of all, the lack of customer support will keep me away from AT&T products in the future.
