Reliable product, many details below.

After hours of shopping in stores and online I have ordered a Ferplast cage for my senior hamster. She has spent most of her life in an omelet cage, but her setup required her to use a long vertical tube in the 2 a year). currently). It was much easier for them to move around in the Ferplast cage. Pros: - Easy to install, parts fit together well and the top is securely attached to the base. - Easy to clean. The parts separate easily, and it doesn't take much time to empty the base and mopping surfaces. Very spacious. Most cages available in the US are too small for a large hamster. No pipes! It's hard to find a cage that doesn't require at least 1 pipe. I'm not a fan of whistles because they are difficult to clean and dry and difficult to get stubborn or anxious hamsters out of them. For those who love snorkels, there is a hole on the left side of the cage to attach a snorkel (sold separately). Comes with all accessories. My hamster loves the little house and the water bottle is good quality. - Good visibility, you can always see where the hamster is. - Great facility for all stages of life, from babies to seniors. They can easily move between floors, and there aren't many places where an animal can fall from one floor to another, such as on the floor. B. Cages with small raised platforms with steep edges. Although they are big, they are easy to carry. If I have to leave my hamster with a friend when I travel, all I have to do is put the cage in the car and go. big enough to reach most of the cage. If I want to reach my chest or the feeding bowl in the corner, I have to completely remove the lid of the cage. No matter how careful I am, opening the lid of the cage makes a loud sound and can be very scary for a young or nervous animal. - It is difficult to reach the creature on the lower floor. If I need to get the hummy out of the bottom tier, I have to remove both the top of the cage and the entire top tier with the wheel attached. It takes longer than I'd like, and the bottom portion is cumbersome and unbalanced to fit anywhere with the wheel attached, causing the water bottle to drip. On top of that, once part of the floor is removed, the critter below is very open, can get scared, and the wall is low enough to jump out. - There is no possibility to leave the animal inside during cleaning. The omelet cage I kept it in had a way to close the 1st stick to leave my gum in while I pulled out the other stick and cleaned. Installing a Ferplast cage requires that when cleaning the cage there is a completely different place to place the animal. The inside of the bottom of the cage is textured and I want it to be smooth. The way it's structured makes the entire floor filled with nooks and crannies that collect and hold urine instead of allowing the substrate to soak it up. It also makes cleaning and drying difficult. The texture on the bottom doesn't add anything useful. Animals don't need it for traction when walking, since that part is usually already covered with the substrate. The exercise wheel was too small for an adult Syrian hamster and I had to replace it with a larger one. Overall, Ferplast's cage is a cut above most cages available in the US and definitely way better than anything I've personally seen in retail stores. It should be noted that I can't say how safe or cheap the cage is as the only hamster I've had is an older one. My adult hamster is past the day it was escape master and dislikes to chew. If I have a younger hamster in my cage I will update my review. I highly recommend considering the Omlet Qute cage. It's expensive but has been worth it for me for the past 2 years as long as my older hamster was able to climb the pipe easily and now I have another young hamster who loves it. This is the best cage I have ever had with hamsters in my life. I think this cage from Ferplast is the next best thing if you don't have the space and/or budget for an Omlet. Still, it's worth saving up for an omelette. I'm a regular consumer - I'm in no way compensated for my reviews, which is why I've spent my hard-earned money on the products I review.
