You only notice what's gone when it comes back

First of all, I would like to say that I am a self-confessed skeptic. I saw an advertisement for this product and said heck, let's see if it's true. At first I was suspicious of Purina's problems with making dog food from inferior, dog-killing products. After searching the web, this issue was (allegedly) fixed a while ago. That's why I bought it here because I couldn't easily find it in stores. I have a 10 year old Bichon Fries who has eaten potatoes his entire life. The dog and owner in the ad looked eerily familiar, so I switched knowing I could just go back to Iams if I wasn't satisfied. I started feeding her half the old food, half the new food, and then all the new food for a week. It was a smooth transition as she clearly likes the taste. She made it to the bottom of the bag in about a month without much fanfare, but I reordered to give her more time. The changes in her crept up on me. Her behavior was different. She wanted to play in a way that I didn't even notice when she stopped until she started again. I didn't notice how her interaction with us had changed until she came back. I didn't notice her mobility dropping a bit until she started running and jumping on high furniture again. I didn't notice her aging until she regained her youth. Needless to say, my dog remains on Clear Mind and will not return to Yams. They turned that skeptic into a believer

Pros
  • Tender pieces in sauce
Cons
  • Not everything fits
