Wow, that's all I can say. I've never used a connection, never had a buffer, but I had to learn. I bought a beautiful Lexus GS350 that was well looked after in terms of maintenance but the paint was very run down. My guess is that the car wasn't garaged and was probably never waxed. The polish was sad, everything was curled up, and there were deep stains of tree sap, bugs, and bird droppings that just wouldn't come out. After hitting it with a clay block, I used this compound as the first step. Done with 205. I probably didn't need the second step to be honest but I bought the material so I used it. Works perfectly. The DA puffer with foam pads worked great and my only regret is that I didn't purchase larger bottles. I studied and did the whole car. I ended up going back in a couple of places because I wasn't as aggressive as I should have been. I couldn't fix everything but it looks like a different car.
