Cat Cave: Basically what other reviewers have said looks like the picture but doesn't. extra sturdy and you need to put a shelf in it to keep it open. However, I would like to add that you should avoid washing the bottom rug in the washing machine. When you do this, the inner styrofoam curls up into a ball, which is essentially a 3D puzzle that you have to unravel without seeing.
