Too big for women's size 6.5 shoes.

I was hoping they would fit although the description for women's small says they fit sizes 5.5 to 8. I wear size 6.5. Unfortunately I have an inch more than my toes, or if I wear them all the way the healing literally extends beyond my shoes. and the bulge on my achilles tendon looks pretty weird. I even washed them several times and there was no difference (which is good for some).
