Sound is good and picks up direction easily. I like the full size microphone. While the short ones work, I prefer this style as they can be bent and placed close. The short style makes me feel like I have to yell "no problem". The only problem and the reason for 4 stars is the fit. I have a large head and the way the strap is made ensures a good fit. Without adjustment, it would be a pain for long gaming sessions. The good thing, however, is that the strap is a solid piece that can be individually adjusted. I had to stretch it a bit to make it comfortable, which is scary, but you can see the metal band when it goes into the headphones, so I knew it was solid before trying it. As a result, after adjustment, it began to work well and more conveniently, but safely. Overall a good set for the price.
