I am pretty happy to have a 'all-in-one' unit. It covers all bases/needs and while the sound is decent ( not great, but not bad either). ISSUES: the volume for the radio— the lowest setting is still pretty loud if you listen in the night, could be 1/2 the volume, it seems better balanced for CD's and Bluetooth etc. Also major issue: the clock brightness setting at its lowest is STILL very bright for night time having this on a bedside table. The 'off' option helps but then you have to find the remote and turn it back on just to see what time it is. I just put red plastic and taped it to the front, but for the amount of money this costs, to not just have ONE lower setting for night time that is much less bright than the lowest setting seems a no-brainer. Otherwise I am mostly happy with this clock radio.
