Fantastic little bondage foot

I received this little foot in the mail the other day. It's great and very easy to use. I read some reviews about how difficult it was to get the bias binding in, but it's very easy. I used this foot on my brother's CS6000 sewing machine. He came with instructions. For those who don't know how to use this foot, here is a simple instruction manual. FIRST, it can only be used with 1/2 inch bias tape. Step 1. Cut off the end of the bias binding. Insert the pointed end of the band at a 45 degree angle into the first slot at the top of the binding. NOT in the larger slot on the side. Using a seam ripper or a long needle, gently push the ribbon further through the slit until it is sticking out of the end of the tie section, the small end of the cone. TIP: Use a seam ripper under the long slit of the binding to allow the band to move forward. binding, pull it about 1/4 inch toward the back of the binding. Step 2 NOW attach the presser foot to the sewing machine. It should just snap onto the bottom of the shaft. STEP 3 Place the material you want to knit into the LONG groove on the left side of the tapered folder. The bias tape should cover the edge. NOW lower the presser foot. Step 4. ADJUST THE POSITION OF THE NEEDLE so it catches the edge of the bias binding. I usually place the needle a little closer to the right edge of the bias binding. That way I know for sure it's gripping both edges of the band, front and back. With a regular straight stitch length, I use a 2.5 length on my machine. BLINK SLOWLY AT FIRST. STEP 5. Guide the fabric to be bound along the right side of the groove on the tapered binder. DO NOT TRY TO GUIDE THE BAND, it will automatically be in the correct position. TIP for going around outside corners. Continue guiding the fabric by manipulating it to still fit the slits on the right side. SLOWLY STIT AROUND THE CURVES. This binder works best with light to medium fabrics. HEAVY fabrics are quite bulky to fit through the gap. When it comes to an end When putting it together at the beginning, sew diagonally to the right. HOPE THIS IS USEFUL. I have been sewing for over 50 years and practice makes perfect.
