For some reason the card slips into the seams of the pocket after a while. So I suggest leaving some extra space on the black part so it can compensate for the slide down. If you cut it, make VERY SMALL adjustments with scissors and check the result after each adjustment. I don't know why, but they always stick deeper in my pocket than they should. It's a cool idea, it looks AMAZING, but up close you can see this is no ordinary crease. Most people don't stack their squares this way, and it looks too good, almost fake. Put together it looks great!
