Review on Corsair Wireless Premium Headset Surround Computer Accessories & Peripherals and Game Hardware by Adam Wawrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

Used for almost 3 years. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but iCue was ated in the evening and when I put the headphones on charge in the morning, they just smoked. USB from the headphones melted out of the board on which it was located and remained on the cable. This is all provided that charging was always carried out from a PC through a native cable (there are simply no other microUSB left), which was in "greenhouse conditions": there are not even scratches, because. was always hidden and only a small part of it stuck out. Now I’m looking for a replacement for them, but with such jambs I won’t take it for the second time.

Pros
  • + Beautiful headphones (I took it in a limited yellow color). + The sound is good for wireless. + Range: pierces through 2 walls well, but the refrigerator is already a black hole. That is, about 7 meters with two walls break through well. + Turn the microphone on and off by lowering and raising it. + Comfortable fit and adjustable. + USB-cable looks quite nice, even though microUSB, which is now rarely used anywhere. + Efficiency while charging.
Cons
  • - iCue is the worst thing that could be done with these headphones! After installing it, the behavior becomes completely inexplicable. - Life time without charging leaves much to be desired. 5-6 hours and they are already beeping that there is not enough charging. - Completely inexplicable behavior of the automatic shutdown of the headphones: when you enter the game, the sound goes on, but it thinks that it is not there and after 15 minutes the headphones will turn off - it cannot be treated. You watch YouTube - everything is fine, but there is no game. By principle, there is sound, but the headphones do not know about it. And it happens that in idle time they do not turn off for hours until they are discharged, although there is no sound. - MicroUSB, which is already decently outdated. - Although the ear pads are removable, pulling them back on is another adventure.
