the elastic waistband was REEEALLY tight. very uncomfortable and i cannot wear the shorts which is upsetting. the top is cute and fits. i ordered a small and because it comes as a set if i ordered a medium so that the shorts would fit then the shirt would be too big. somewhat of a lose/lose situation. i bought the set mainly for the shorts. if you dont enjoy elastic digging into your belly, order a size up. also they are not adjustable, the ribbon bow is a facade and does not serve a purpose other than for looks.
