Adheres well but may ruin a sofa or anything else you put on this material. I put it on my couch and it ended up drying out so I took it off to put a new one on and when I took it off it ripped off bits of material/fabric around the edges of the sofa in some places so it kinda sucks . Also, when it gets that dry, the cat will start scratching at that spot because it doesn't bother them anymore since there is no adhesion.
