Useful material for weather protection and corrosion of electrical connections. Also, it is generally a useful lubricant with low toxicity and low reactivity. I typically apply it to any electrical connections that might be exposed and also use it to treat connections in flashlights etc, particularly in the case of aluminum housings/threads where it helps maintain the integrity of the finished use.
