Review on Sunroof-Compatible Protective Silicone Skins for Arlo Ultra/Ultra 2 & Arlo Pro 3/Pro 4 (3 Pack, Beige) - NOT Compatible with Arlo Essential Spotlight by Sean Maples

Great "halo effect " when properly attached to the Ultra.

I gave 2 stars because there is a certain "halo effect" (especially at night) when the skin is properly attached to the camera. You'll need to pull or pull back the skin to not cover the leading edges at all, or pull back even further if the Ultra's 180-degree field of view "sees" the skin. This defeats the purpose as you can't wrap the skin around the front to properly seal the edge where the camera body meets the case, preventing moisture from reaching sensitive camera components. The halo effect ruins the camera's night vision, making it a pretty average camera. It stings given the initial price. This skin only protects the shell and loosens up a bit when you pull it back to eliminate the halo effect. If this effect isn't important to you, stretch the leather across the entire front to seal properly and enjoy. I tried painting the leading edges matte black, but nothing changed. In addition, the hood somewhat reduces the effectiveness of the headlight. Testing the LED lighting with skin on and no lens hood prevents some light from going over the camera and effectively reduces the total illuminated area at night.
