This was a replacement for another socket I bought from Revain which died within a year. The other hub was one of the cordless ones, and you plug it straight into the port, which is theoretically "cleaner" and more organized. However due to its design the two plugs started to bend and almost wobble so I bought this one and so far so good. It's super light and not too bulky, and the cord gives you the flexibility to tuck it out of the way to free up more space for your workspace. It didn't prevent the connection to my wireless charger or a cable. This is a solution to the missing ports problem on Apple computing devices.
