I'm not giving these 5 stars because they are the best vices in the world, but because they do a really good job and are great value for money. Most importantly, the vise jaws are parallel and lock onto the part across the entire 4.5" width, ensuring the part is held securely with minimal clamping force. The vise head swivels making it suitable for holding longer parts in small workshops...yet strong enough for light to medium work when the swivel clamps are tightened. The jaws are irreversible, but I still use soft aluminum sponges, so it's fine. Totally recommended for hobbyists and all but heavy industrial use.
