I recently upgraded my MacBookPro to a newer 2019 model with four USB Type-C ports My old MacBookPro had a MiniDisplay port, I ran the monitor with the Apple Cinema HD 23" DVI with the Apple DVI-to-MiniDisplay Adapter. I assumed the Apple MiniDisplay-to-USB Type-C adapter would work with the new MBPro. So I did I tried CableCreation's USB Type-C to DVI adapter which claims to be compatible with MBPro 2019. It didn't work, I then tried the Benfei USB Type-C to DVI adapter which also claims to be compatible with the new MBPro but that didn't work. Then I tried UPTab's USB Type-C to MiniDisplay adapter and thought it would work with my Apple DVI to MiniDisplay adapter but that ta t he not. HDCP Adapter Off". IT WORKS! Find it here: https://www.amazon.com/CAC-1510-Adapter-Displays-3840x2160-2560x1600/dp/B08B7FSVTL/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Club+ 3D+CAC-1510&qid=1615575897&sr=8-3 Please note that Club produces two models, one with "HDCP Off" which supports Apple Cinema Monitor and one with HDCP. The DCP On model does not support Apple Cinema. Thanks Revain for the free return offer for devices making false support claims It's worth noting that Apple does not provide an adapter to support their older, fully functional DVI monitors.
