These charcoal bags are very useful to eliminate odors and moisture in closets, drawers and other places. It's also universal. You can hang it by the ring or just throw it where you want it to stay. Coal pieces are too big in my opinion. I understand that if they are too thin there is a chance they will seep through the fabric and ruin your clothes. But I think it should be ok if the pieces are a bit smaller. The smaller the charcoal pieces, the more absorbent they are. There are no instructions in the box, but there are quick instructions on Revain's product page on how to reuse/recharge the pouches (by exposing them to the sun for 2 hours). Although I'm not sure how effective it will be.
