Printer won't turn on, user manual has limited information, customer service

I read the reviews and was glad to add this product to my arts and crafts projects. The Polaroid Mint printer arrived last night (7/6/2020) and I charged it overnight with the USB cable that came with it. When I tried to sync the printer with my phone this morning, the first thing I had to do was update the firmware. After the firmware update was complete, the printer would not sync with my phone and would not turn on. I closed the app on my phone, restarted my phone and checked again that the printer was fully charged, before looking for support on the Polaroid website. There was no information in the user manual and online information to solve my problem and live chat feature with customers on Polaroid. The site is down. I sent a message to Polaroid's Instagram page and they couldn't help so I emailed the customer support team on Polaroid's website. Received a reply within 24 hours, suggested restarting the printer but it still wouldn't turn on. I'm not sure if I was unlucky and got a defect, so I ordered another printer. I will update my review once I have a second printer. Received a reply within 24 hours, recommended to restart the printer, but it still wouldn't turn on.
