I walk every day, I can't walk because of my past paralysis, I find it easy to walk with them on a waterbed. My back can't take a beating and these shoes, when I saw the design I knew they would train with my other similarly designed hiking shoes. I put on silicone gel inserts of a specific design that help the shoes come into even softer contact with the road surface. I highly recommend this shoe.
