Strong clip, fragile plastic

They keep my fine, thin, straight hair in a bun all day and they don't tear my hair when I pull it out. The plastic is smooth and finished. BUT if dropped it breaks VERY easily as it is made of hard brittle plastic. Mine slipped out of my hand onto my linoleum floor and amazingly part of the claw immediately detached!
