I bought two of these, one was for an over sized chair, its not a huge chair, but slightly larger than a standard size. Its actually the dogs chair and I wanted something I could take off and wash. First, I had to extend the straps all the way out to get it to fasten, and once fastened the ring that it fastens to, bent. After about a week it just broke, but the cover stays on more or less anyway. However it does not cover the chair well and could actually be bigger. The back piece is very narrow, and so it leaves about 8 inches on either side exposed.The second one was for a recliner, again not a large recliner, actually a fairly small one. Again I had to extend the straps all the way out and they were stretched tight, but the rings on this one stayed. That being said the cover was stretched so tight that eventually it would crawl up the chair and be on correctly. And the bottom isn't long enough to cover the foot rest, nor is there anyway to fasten it to the foot rest.That being said, the actual fabric part is DURABLE, my dog is a nut and there are no tears, no fraying, no strings sticking out, it washes well and holds up.
