BEST Coffeemaker for my opinion

I did a lot of research into this purchase before we went ahead with the Ninja. There were some negative reviews about this coffeemaker that concerned me, but I decided it was worth a shot. After using this product for about a month now, I have concluded that it is extremely well made, does it's job very well, and some of the negative reviews about this product are from unrealistic expectations. I will explain later. My basis of comparison (what we had before) is just a cheap, grocery store baseline drip coffee maker for about $25. We were looking for something a bit better, but not top tier. Here is what I absolutely love about this coffeemaker:1) It is super fast. It makes 12 cups in about six minutes or less. I can hit "brew" and come back in a minute or two and have half a pot already made.2) The coffee is scalding hot. Too hot almost. I fill the reservoir with cold tap water, and somehow the coffee comes out hot enough to burn my tongue after I fill my mug and add a couple tablespoons of honey and way too much refrigerated creamer. You could probably pour this coffee over ice and it will STILL BE HOT after all the ice melted. HOT HOT COFFEE.3) Excellent product design! The carafe is sturdy and has great pour control. The removable reservoir is innovative and so much easier than filling a carafe full of water and then pouring it into a machine - it even has multiple grip holds for filling! The hot plate does not show drip marks and always looks clean. The rain shower head has improved the taste of our coffee greatly since we like to mix coffee flavors in the same batch. This product was designed for simplicity and efficiency without sacrificing quality.Ok, so about these negative reviews. Is this machine perfect? No. But the "issues" are so minor I don't even feel they are really issues.1) Complaints about the removable reservoir durability. I read one review that this reservoir broke "after just dropping it once." Well, yeah, it's plastic and if you drop it on the floor, idiot, it will break just like anything else. The reservoir is made from quality, thick plastic. I don't find it cheaply made at all, and the shape is just something of beauty for the way it lets you hold it multiple ways. It seems like product design went above and beyond to make this an overly functional part of the coffeemaker, and there are just some people that are going to drop it and blame their disfunction on the product.2) The "sneak a cup" feature doesn't completely pause the drip. This is true. If I try to grab a cup of coffee before the brew is finished, it does drip considerably more than my previous cheapy coffeemaker. However, as I said before the total brew time is so fast, I don't really need to sneak a cup anymore because the entire pot is brewed in about 5-6 minutes. Also, the hotplate doesn't show the drip marks. Not sure how this works but the material they made it with always looks clean. In conclusion, I find this coffeemaker to be an extremely sound purchase. It may be the best "no frills, just great drip coffee" maker you can buy. If that is what you are looking for, do not hesitate about this product, go ahead and purchase. You will love it!
