It stopped working after 3 weeks - mystery as to why
Initially just what I wanted. I took a long time researching pistol safes. I really do like this one for its size, weight, cable, interior light, padding.except the fully charged battery stopped working in 3 weeks - or so I thought it was the battery. I went to open the vault to retrieve my pistol and it was as dead as a door nail.I plugged in the charger and it would not charge. No lights, beeps, nothing. I had to dig out the hidden key to open it. I took out the battery (which was properly seated) and replaced it again. It started working! I put in the code to check battery charge and it WAS fully charged. So I don't know why it was inoperable . Glad there wasn't a bad guy breaking down my door. Seems to be working again.
