Review on Solid Yellow Gold Nose Gauge by Christine Rowe

UPDATE: Despite my issues with the jewelry, the seller contacted me after posting my review and refunded my money. Worth mentioning is the excellent customer service and I certainly appreciate that they did it. First Review: I got my nose pierced with a bobby pin and 5 weeks later I replaced it with this ring. Within a week a bump formed next to my piercing. First he was small, and then he grew and grew. I cleaned it, soaked it in salt water and did everything you were told. I looked like a witch with a wart on my nose for 6 weeks! Eventually I went to another piercer (I saw a dermatologist and my original piercer). He immediately said that my nose was infected. He asked about the jewelry and where I got it from. He told me it was of poor quality and caused irritation and infection. He then cleaned it and replaced it with a surgical steel ring. It's been less than 48 hours and my belly is almost gone! While this decoration is cute and I liked the way it looked, it clearly didn't work for me. It's possible I can put it back in when it's fully healed, but given the circumstances I threw it away and decided to buy a solid gold band from a jeweler. Because let's face it, it wasn't the image I was aiming for!
