Review on ZyXEL Single Band WiFi Access Point NWA1100-NH with PoE and 2 Long Range External Antennas by Bennie Wilks

Having had good luck with ZyXel routers, this product is disappointing. I bought two, one as a "root AP" and the other as a repeater from the first. Constantly crashing (particularly, but not exclusively, the repeater), sometimes for hours or reboots, sometimes for several days. Hours of phone calls to ZyXel tech support got nowhere. 3 beta firmware updates have not gone away. They refused to let me speak directly to 2nd or 3rd level tech support. I ended up returning one of them but couldn't return the other one as it was outside the 30 day window that Revain allows. The Apple AirPort Extreme I replaced them with turned out to be a much better product. Ironic since I don't have a single Mac.
