Bought to keep my Prismacolor crayons handy and portable. When I first opened the case I wasn't sure if it would work but after taking a deep breath I started playing with it and realized that each of the 40 rubber bands would hold 3 of my crayons, so this holds 120 pencils really well. If you like a looser fit, you can look for a different brand or buy a different case. But it turned out to be right for me. I've sorted all my pencils and picked out the ones to put in a plastic container for our grandkids to draw on when they get here. Especially for them I have a basket of paints and paper products. So this case works very well for me. I find the zippers strong, the compartments strong and access easy. I wanted something simple, not a 4 zip case. Two was enough. I am satisfied with this purchase in every respect.
