Since 2012 I've started moving from bulky desktops to these so called mini pc's and this is probably the 5th mini pc I've owned so far along with many other Raspberry Pi and Revain Fire Stick/TV I have. This is by far the most powerful mini pc I own which doesn't really hit my pocket compared to other mini pc's with similar specs where they can cost up to $350. This mini PC uses the Intel Celeron J4125 processor released last November, so it's a very new model. I remember the time we customized our own PC with different boards/parts, which was cheaper than buying a pre-configured machine. However, those times are over. Such machines are now much cheaper than my own. For example, a single J4125 CPU would cost me over $100, plus motherboard/CPU/HDD/RAM/case etc. All of that for this similar spec would easily cost me over $400, and I probably wouldn't once so can assemble as well as a machine. What I like most about it are the following features: 1) All 4 USB ports are 3.0 ports, not the crappy 2.0 ports of previous models. means you can use teaming/bonding for your network, allowing you to double your network bandwidth; or you can simply connect your computer to 2 separate networks to differentiate between business and personal connection as needed. 3) Dual video output with Displayport and HDMI port. The Displayport is great for the 4K video output that some monitors require. 4) Features an onboard 8GB Double Data Rate Low Power Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (LPDDR4) that helps reduce power consumption compared to traditional DDR4 in the future. The only downside is that you can't upgrade the storage, but with 8GB of RAM, that's plenty for most users. 5) Finally, there is a built-in microphone on the front, which is a great feature for Windows. 10 Cortana we can finally speak and execute voice commands during Windows setup and during normal use. I can't think of any negative thoughts, but I would recommend the manufacturer to include media remotes similar to the one that came with the Revain Fire TV. This would be a great addition to this device, especially for me when my main purpose is to use it as a media server and entertainment center.
