Personally, I am not a fan of Apple technology, but it so happened that my parents have been using their devices for many years, since the 4th iPhone, and do not want to switch to something else. Therefore, from time to time I ate their smartphones and tablets with more modern models. In particular, when preparing this iPad as a gift for my mother, I first decided to use it myself for about a month in order to set everything up and at the same time understand for myself how convenient it would be for me to use it. I'll start with the positives. Of course, this is the build quality of the device as a whole, materials, screen and the thoughtfulness of the latest versions of the operating system. Widgets, split screen, the ability to work with files without iTunes, optimization of applications and games have finally appeared, which, despite the smaller amount of RAM compared to the flagship and from Android, often work better and with better graphics. All this certainly makes a good impression. And the ability to broadcast content to modern TVs has finally expanded the ease of use in everyday life, as was the case with Android devices. Of the minuses, of course, it is worth noting the still complete lack of opportunity for a simple user to install applications not from the official store. Many applications similar to those on Android are free, you only have to buy them here. At the same time, some of those programs that fully work on the iPhone do not work on the iPad, and you cannot find full-fledged analogues even for money. For example, applications for FB or WhatsApp. Their iPad versions are just awful! Same as file managers. This is, in principle, a long-standing pain of this operating system. Thank you that at least some kind of their likeness has now appeared, but compared to any android one, they do not hold water. In principle, any more or less decent application requires payment for use. Moreover, more and more often this is not just a one-time purchase during installation, but a monthly tariff. As a result, I will say that up to 8 'there is no alternative to iPads now. But I wouldn't take it myself.
