One star, but why? When I connected it to the network, my computer would not turn on. I took it to a computer repair shop and showed them the plug and what had happened, they checked and said the charger was faulty - the computer burned out. So now I have to either get that old laptop fixed or buy a new one even though I just wanted a new charger because my old one isn't charging properly anymore. While this plug is cheaper and should have worked with my laptop if it wasn't defective, I think it's almost better to pay extra just for a charger or a part made specifically for your computer, and even then there's a possibility that it is defective. but I feel less likely. Update: Laptop not worth saving - $675 later. new laptop. Bittersweet: The best laptop, but an unnecessary substitute. It gets worse: It looks like my TV burned out too, not to mention my PS4 powers on but HDMI doesn't register. Remember that all of these things worked fine before I plugged them into the wall and the former laptop. I was distracted by my non-working laptop and didn't realize other things that weren't working until later. It may be very expensive to spend $10 on this product. Do you want to take a risk? I think I fried half my electronics in the room.
