Bought to connect my security system to the WIFI module. Too bad I didn't check it first and didn't think the CAT cable was meant to be plug and play, but I drilled holes that ended up in my drywall, threw tools at my wall to get at this cable, ran it all the way through. my attic to get to my security panel. It just won't work. I spent hours trying to figure out what I did wrong installing the module and security system, and then finally tested the cable on a device that I know works. And the cable is annoying. Since I bought it at the end of February in preparation for an installation that I haven't been able to do so far, I can't return this useless junk either. I cannot make a purchase recommendation. Purchased from cable direct online.
