This phone is perfect for me. I use Magic Jack as my home phone and divert calls to my cell phone when I'm not at home. Now I pay $10 a month for both! Anyway, back to V-Tech. Great sound, great caller ID. Totally enjoyable long talk. I can also carry it on my shoulder. The directory and caller ID features work great once you read and understand the manual; not the most obvious feature set. However, the volume and clarity are great; without static electricity. It works great with Magic Jack phone caller ID, you just need to connect the Magic Jack to a powered USB hub (with power cord), not directly to the computer, then caller ID will work. You can also use your computer's speakers and microphone as a speakerphone. (Also make sure the phone is set to dial tone or it won't dial using the Magic Connector.) I love that it doesn't answer the call when I pick it up from the cradle. I always look at the caller ID before answering and I don't want to be afraid of touching my phone while I'm looking at it. I also like the ability to add new phones later.
