Review on Woodland's Premier Block Puzzle: A Delightful Starter! by Natasha Gibson

You will receive 4 blocks. Each measures 3 x 3 x 3 inches. They are a good size, even bigger than I wanted for a block puzzle. They take up little space in the closet. The pictures/art are great and includes 4 puzzles: fox, owl, bear and rabbit. The other two sides of the blocks contain colors or random images, but they don't fit into the puzzle. The edges of the paper are open on some sides, which can lead to possible cuts on the paper or encourage a child to tear off the paper images. Also, the paper sleeve doesn't always perfectly match the edges of the blocks, so sometimes a small strip of another puzzle ends up in the middle of your current puzzle. For example: In the fox puzzle, the owl puzzle strip ran down the middle of the picture. Since these pads are paper wrapped I generally wouldn't use them if toddlers are still putting things in their mouths or drooling over things. However, they are good for teaching logic/problem solving to slightly older toddlers. This set is very suitable for a girl or a boy given the forest theme. I just don't expect them to last very long standing etc. UPDATE - they broke. One of the few products from this company that just didn't last long.
