Rougher than expected
I normally just use a bar and my hands, so I admit I am not used to any exfoliating sponge. I tried one of these with some bath gel. It does a good job holding soap so I can just squeeze a bit on the sponge. I was surprised how rough it felt, but I guess that's the exfoliating part. I will keep using it and see if I get used to it. The rope is also a little small for hanging on a shower handle, but it still works.
