Review on Hap Tim Laptop Backpack Laptop Accessories and Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Bob Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Too many little annoying quirks.

I wanted something with easy open and close compartments (ie one handed operation, convenient laptop and file storage and storage for small accessories such as chargers) devices/cables ), backpack style, not messenger style. This bag holds everything I need perfectly. The problem is that the style of the zippers and the shape of the compartments make two-handed operation imperative and can be quite frustrating to use. The metal wire frame around the main opening adds no functionality but makes it difficult to open/close the main zipper without holding the zipper end. There's also a handy pocket for throwing files inside, but since that part of the pocket isn't rigid, it allows the pocket to fold on its own, allowing your files to flex. Also, forget about just leaning it against something when you sit down to work. The bag falls on itself every time due to the odd shape. I wish I had to spend money to experiment with a different bag. Someday I'll find one that just works.

Pros
  • Shock absorbing straps and padding on the back for maximum comfort
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
