First let me say I just opened them and I still love them. I was very excited to receive them and as soon as they got here I opened them up and sat down at K/10 to try them out. No splinters (I've read on several other bamboo hooks this has been an issue), they seem decent for the quality of the bamboo finish. I was pleasantly surprised that they have screw cable mounts and end caps. I was afraid the cable would pop out in the middle of a project, which screw caps can't do. I'm used to the smaller, blunter head (picture attached), so the larger, pointed head will take some time to get used to. I've toyed with the idea of sanding them down a bit but I think I'll leave them as is as I tend to crochet very tight and this head helps loosen up the size.
