I really like this product, I really like the color (purple is cool in a good way) and the screen size is a big plus (other devices have smaller screens), but . A few things stop me from enjoying it: This thing is plastic like most things, but the feel and button presses feel a bit muted. Next, the visibility of the screen. You really need to be at the perfect angle (right in front of you) or you won't be able to see the picture well or at all as two person viewing becomes quite difficult. I can deal with those characteristics, however, but the most annoying thing about this device is that there is a ticking ticking sound when the hard drive is spinning, which makes it almost unbearable to watch. Of course, headphones are the solution to this problem, but having owned this device for less than a month I just feel like it shouldn't tick, at least not yet. We will continue to use this unit but I will continue to look for another DVD player. I just hope the durability of this unit lasts until I find a replacement.
